Marvin and Florence Ferrell started in the early 60's with a small "Trailer" they bought in Carmi, Illinois and brought it back to Missouri. Their son Pete ran the company for a number of years during the 70's. During that time the Ferrell Family had a visit from Former President Carters brother Billy and the family business was beginning to grow. The youngest of their children Glyn took over the family business in the late 70's and it has grown into what it is today.

Ferrell Mobile Homes has its own Delivery Trucks and Crews, Parts and Service Department, and their own Finance Company called Home Acceptance Corp. which offers Home Owners Insurance as well. Located on the Ferrell Property is Storage Facilities and the areas only Gated Mobile Home Community (Keolani Court). Through hard work, low prices, and great relationships with Manufactures such as SE Homes, Ferrell Mobile Homes has grown into the largest New and Used Mobile Home Dealer in Southeast Missouri.
